Today we take you to our R&D Test room, where we design and test our motors with the support of three benches. On these benches we test our electric motors and simulate their operation in the real field.
Through a series of tests that can be carried out by powering the motors with a 100KVA inverter / Frequency: 20÷150Hz or from the 50 Hz network by means of two autotransformers complete with voltage inverter. So-called ‘type tests’ are carried out in accordance with the reference standards in order to be able to apply the CE / cURus / UKCA / ATEX marks to our products.
In order to produce the technical file of the motor, our operator performs a series of type tests:
- Thermal
- At variable load
- At variable voltage
- Overload
- At no load
- Of insulation
- At locked rotor
- Torque/Revolution (Mechanical Motor characteristic)
- Energy Efficiency Tests
At customer's request, structural vibration and structural noise tests can also be carried out, at the end of which a document is drawn up summarising the motor's overall performance.
