The Legality Rating is an important indicator of corporate transparency and ethics. Established in 2012 by the Italian Competition and Market Authority (AGCM), the Legality Rating is a certification reserved for Italian companies. Its main purpose is to promote principles of ethical behaviour and transparency in business activities. The rating is awarded through a system of ‘stars’, ranging from one to three, based on the fulfillment of specific requirements.
